CLARIFICATIONS
- Getting to the Venue
If you’re from Pampanga – Go straight to Villa Alfredo’s.
If you’re commuting from Metro Manila – It’s best to join Charles Dumol’s group. They will meet at 6:30AM at the Five Star terminal in Cubao. It’s on the northbound side of EDSA, right after the footbridge that moves you across Aurora Blvd.
If you have a vehicle and you’re driving from Metro Manila – Take NLEX northbound, exit in San Fernando. Look for the bus terminal in SM Pampanga (visible from the NLEX exit). I will bring a van, a SUV and maybe another vehicle to lead the commuters to the promised land. We can go in a convoy. Otherwise, you can just use your GPS to find Villa Alfredo’s Resort in Barangay Baliti, San Fernando, Pampanga. Here’s the Google Maps location.
- Check in, check out
Check in and check out times at the resort are 1pm to 12pm the next day. That said, you will need to handle your stuff for the first half of the first day in the function hall.
- Resort Entrance Fee is Separate from Event Registration Fee
I clarified with the resort and they are telling me that the accommodation fees do NOT include entrance fees. Everyone will have to pay P150 each on top of the registration fees which have been used for your room and food. Apologies for the inconvenience. This was made clear to me only last week.
- Snacks
Snacks are available at the resort store. The registration fee only covers main meals.
- Swimming
Everyone is encouraged to use the pools. The resort has five very good ones, so don’t forget to pack those swimming clothes.
Given our schedule, it looks like we’ll have to settle for night swimming.
- Certificates
Unfortunately, we will not be issuing certificates in this event. This is more like a big barkada gathering than an actual conference.
